PANAMA ABU WASHED GW1618
@abucoffeepanama, located in Boquete, Panama’s Hacienda Cañas Verdes, cultivates the renowned Geisha variety amid a humid, rainy microclimate typical of tropical forests. The coffee trees thrive on the slopes of Volcán Barú National Park, benefiting from fertile, well-drained volcanic soils enriched with organic content. At an average altitude of 1550 masl, the plantation is shaded by native trees, fostering harmony with the abundant local flora and fauna while respecting biodiversity.
The strategic geographic location allows sunlight to play a crucial role, complemented by a tropical mist called “Bajareque” and embraced by thick fog during sunrise and sunset. The harvest season is from December to March. It benefits from reduced humidity, creating an optimal balance for cherries to reach their maximum potential. This process intensifies sugars, enriching the coffee beans with a distinctive flavor, making @abucoffeepanama a prime destination for the cultivation of exceptional coffee.
